Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi was reportedly excluded from the Argentina's La Albiceleste World Cup squad due to a misunderstanding with team’s talisman, Lionel Messi, suggests report coming out of the South American camp.
The 25-year-old Icardi has been left out despite proving to be among world’s top goals scorer over the past Serie A campaigns’ with Inter Milan.
The report further hinted that Icardi was reportedly told as early as April that he would not be in the squad to Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

And Barcelona highly rated player Messi is allegedly linked to Icardi’s exclusion, disclosed a UK Mirror report citing Bleacher Report as source.
