Police are investigating the murder of a 46-year-old Warrensville Heights woman.
According to a release from the city, on Monday around 11:41 p.m. they responded a domestic disturbance to the 19700 block of Sunset Drive.
When police arrived, they found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds.
The woman was taken to Cleveland Clinic-South Pointe Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Amanda Williams.
According to the city, police have a man in custody at the Warrensville Heights jail in connection to the shooting.
The man was identified by the city as Tirrell Edwards.
