Travis Lamar Berkley, 34, of Wisconsin, was charged with murder and was arraigned on Sunday.
The six victims were discovered on January 23 with gunshot wounds, but court documents detailing the accusations against Birkley reveal they were murdered three days previously.
A confidential witness informed detectives that Birkley admitted killing all six victims during a “robbery” with his cousin, according to a complaint obtained by Fox 6 Milwaukee.
Charles Hardy, 42, Caleb Jordan, 23, Javon Liddell, 31, Donta “Michael” Williams, 44, Michelle Williams, 49, and Donald Smith, 43, were previously recognized by the police.
On January 20, hours after the murder, detectives uncovered a “selfie” purportedly made by Berkeley in the basement of his home, in which Berkeley was wearing sunglasses belonging to one of the victims.
